Bar Cross Ranch – Seasonal Contract Ranch Hand – Team

Must possess knowledge of a working ranch with stockmanship, horsemanship, and land stewardship as a base. Bar Cross Ranch is seeking teamed partners to bring your knowledge, share your experience, and help build a positive relationship among the ranch team working as part of a progressive cow-calf and yearling operation.

Qualifications:

Working knowledge of ranching and farming
Experience in the field, but also capable of working with technology through mobile apps
3 – 5 Years experience with cattle; Range Calving, Low Stress Handling, Roping, Branding, and outside doctoring
Ranch fence building and maintenance
Regular on-site schedule plus extended periods; nights, weekends, holidays
Requires physically demanding activities, carrying up to 100 pounds, while in extreme weather conditions and remote areas
Driver’s License
