Seasonal hunting guide wanted.

We are BlueDark Outfitters, located in Northeastern North Carolina, hunting in Northampton, Bertie, and Hertford counties. We hunt whitetail deer, black bear, and wild turkey. This job would focus on deer and bear. We are family owned and operated on both privately owned and leased land, no public.
Northampton County in particular, has the highest density of deer and bucks per square mile in the state, along with a longer season and liberal bag limit. The terrain includes hardwood ridges, pine thickets, crop fields, swamp bottoms, and cutover.
Job compensation includes:
- $600.00 per week plus tips

Job requirements:
Specific:
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to operate ATV’s and UTV’s
- Knowledge of firearms and firearms safety
- Lift 50 pounds unassisted
- good physical shape
- interpersonal communication skills that will enable the individual to work with a wide variety of client personalities and capabilities
- familiarity with NC hunting rules and regulations specifically concerning whitetail deer and black bear
Preferred:
- completion of a hunter safety education course
- ability to field dress and quarter a carcass
Job Description:
This job is seven days a week. We can arrange for the occasional day off. Our day begins early and ends late, especially during the height of the season. You will drop hunters at the stands and retrieve them throughout the day. You will recover harvested animals and help to clean carcasses. We also transport carcasses to a local processor. Lunch and dinner with be eaten with the hunters.
When not interacting with clients, the job includes clearing trails and firing lanes, setting up and maintaining stands, baiting, carcass disposal, and scouting for animals. You may be asked to help with lodge maintenance such as some cleaning, lawn work, trash disposal, etc.
