Looking for a responsible and productive individual, interested in living on and managing a 115+ year old family ranch in Cora, Wyoming.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE:
• Keeping the grounds, roads, forest areas, buildings well maintained and clean
• Small construction or ranch building improvement projects to be done.
• Ensuring that systems (electrical, irrigation, plumbing, etc.) and equipment (trucks, ATV’s, heavy equipment, etc) are functioning and well maintained.
• Ride, move, doctor, rotate cattle on ranch and forest allotment
• Oversee herd grazing rotation, animal handling schedule, and maintenance
• Irrigate ranch, maintain ditches by hand and with equipment
• Maintain existing fences and build new fences when required
• Report of weekly and monthly livestock related activities including but not limited to animal health, weather conditions, facility conditions, forage and feed consumption.
• Coordinating outside contractors and vendors as required
• Work hours may vary with possible evening, weekend, or holiday work required depending on the season and associated work duties. Standard schedule is 6 days per week.
• Work in variable weather conditions, on difficult and hazardous terrain and under physically demanding circumstances.

YOU MUST BE/HAVE:
• Willing to live on the ranch full time(Room included, board by individual)
• Self-motivated, organized and efficient
• Must have valid driver’s license and experience operating various types of equipment and machinery (trucks, tractors, ATV/UTVs, mowers, generators, pumps, etc.).
• Strong organizational abilities, time management skills, people skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
• Enjoy living in a remote area
• Able to work with your own hands as well as lead other people to complete job on time.
• Experienced and have skills related to property management/maintenance, carpentry, plumbing or electrical engineering, ranch machinery, fencing, irrigation, and cattle management.
• Drug free
• Having your own horse(s) will be a determining factor in consideration for the job. All cattle work is done on horseback.

Job is seasonal (May-Nov).
