We are seeking a Seasonal Ranch Hand for the Summer of 2026
Location: Meeteetse, WY (Wood River area)
Housing + Internet Provided
We are a cow–calf bison ranch seeking a Seasonal Ranch Hand for Summer 2026. This position focuses on day‑to‑day ranch operations and land management. *Please note: this is not a cowboying position*
Primary Responsibilities
- Pivot irrigation
- Electric and traditional fencing
- Weed control and pasture maintenance
- Haying at the end of the season
- Yard and lawn care
- Equipment upkeep and basic maintenance
- General ranch and headquarters cleanup
- Other ranch duties as needed
This ranch was recently purchased and is in an active project phase. We are looking for someone reliable, hardworking, and willing to take on a variety of tasks as we improve and maintain the property.
- Hours:
- Mon–Fri: 7 AM–5 PM
- Sat: 7 AM–12 PM
- Hours may vary during peak season
- Pay: $12–$15/hour, depending on experience
- Start Date: Mid to late May
- Housing & Internet: Provided on-site
Ideal Candidate
- Able to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
- Experience with irrigation, fencing, or equipment operation is helpful but not required
