This position is available Starting May 1st and will run thru Oct 31st. Possible winter employment for the right candidate with room provided/ No pets allowed!

Must love horses and working with the public. Good horsemanship and horse experience required. Must be safety conscious, have the ability to instruct guests on how to ride and have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, Responsible, Respectful, and a team player is a MUST! You must have a vehicle to get to and from work for this job, knowledge of driving a truck and pulling a trailer is a plus.

Responsible for conducting safe trail rides. Feed and care for herd of 18 horses. Maintain and repair tack. Clean barn and surrounding areas daily. Willing to perform other maintenance duties as assigned – trail maintenance, fencing, hay etc. – and willing to work long hours. Overnight trips are also a part of these days.
We are located at a ski resort on the east coast we offer year-round riding, as well as Buggy and Sleigh rides in the winter months.

Must have a clean background and provide 3 previous employer references, as well as personal references with knowledge of your job performances. This is a Full Time 5 days a week position / Seasonal job.

Slower times will be made up on the busier days. If you have been around horses at all you are aware that they are a full-time job.  At times our horses are stalled in the winter and summer months due to the conditions of their turn out areas, so not having a problem with cleaning stalls is a must. Hard worker and self-motivated applicants.
