Snake River Trail Rides

We are seeking a dependable Wrangler to join our trail ride team for the 2026 season at our historic ranch in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Location: Teton Village, Wyoming
Dates of Employment: ~ May 15 – October 15, 2026
About the Role
As a Wrangler at Snake River Ranch, you’ll lead guided trail rides through breathtaking terrain while providing an exceptional guest experience. You’ll work closely with our Head Wrangler to care for our horse string, lead trail rides, and ensure guest satisfaction through our our summer and fall season.
Responsibilities
- Lead and guide trail rides while ensuring the safety and enjoyment of guests
- Care for, groom, and saddle horses daily
- Monitor horse health and report any injuries or issues to the Head Wrangler
- Assist with horse training as needed
- Perform general ranch maintenance, including fencing, irrigation, and land upkeep
- Provide excellent customer service to ranch guests and answer questions regarding trail rides and ranch operations
- Maintain clean tack, equipment, and facilities
- Report any incidents or accidents immediately to the Head Wrangler or Ranch Manager
- Assist in feeding and watering livestock as needed
- Support other ranch operations as required

- Shared Housing Provided
- Share of ranch ground beef
- Participation in tip sharing between all ranch employees
Qualifications
- Experience handling and riding horses in a working or guest ranch environment
- Some horsemanship skills and knowledge of horse health and safety
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to take on a variety of tasks
