Busy horse ranch in Western Washington is seeking a seasonal trail guide to come lead guided trail rides. We have rides ranging from 30 minutes to 2 hours. We ride on our private property through amazing, wooded trails. We need a guide that can lead a ride of up to 5 riders, hold a conversation, while keeping our customers safe and happy.

Applicants must be able to catch, lead, tie, groom, saddle and bridle. Give a safety presentation before each ride, then guide rides. Guides must be friendly, hardworking, punctual and self-motivated. Guides help with some horse maintenance including but not limited to feeding, cleaning, washing horses, holding horses for shoer or vet. Guides may be asked to help ride young horses to put hours on them.

Housing is available on a seasonal basis. We can accommodate an individual, we are not set up to house a family. We provide utilities, but not meals. We are a short 3 mile drive to town for groceries and recreation. We are non smoking facility and drug use is prohibited.

We are located in beautiful Mount Vernon, Washington. We are 60 miles north of Seattle and 60 miles south of the Canadian border.

Position is paid hourly, plus very generous tips from our customers. Wage is $19.25 per hour. Guides work 40 hours per week. Job starts at the end of June and finishes at the end of September.
