Seeking experienced ranch manager/working couple to oversee 2,000+ acre ranch in Central California. Property is primarily a lifestyle ranch being developed as a boutique-scale organic and sustainable heirloom farm and heritage livestock operation.
Successful candidate must possess excellent management skills. Serving as a hands-on general manager, the ranch manager reports directly to the owners and has the ability to work well alone and with others to accomplish all work. We are looking for a conscientious, organized and detail-oriented self-starter with a strong work ethic who shares our commitment to the stewardship of the land while appreciating the service needs and the challenges of a rural property.
Responsibilities include management, administration and accounting, operations and maintenance, renovation and construction, and hospitality.
Must have valid driver’s license and pass a background check. Spanish language is a plus. Staff housing provided; salary based on experience.
