Flying A Ranch
(January - May)
The Flying A Ranch in Bandera County Texas is looking for eager workers to join our staff of 4 wildlife biologists from late January to mid-May. The ranch is 9,000 acres. 5,500 acres is devoted to white-tailed deer management and habitat enhancement. The remainder of the ranch manages for breeding populations of exotic ungulates. examples include axis, fallow, kudu, wildebeest etc. Generally, we hire wildlife majors or recent graduates with similar fields of study but are open to people that have a passion for ranching. The ideal age for applicants is 20-28 years of age. On site housing is supplied. Ranch vehicles are supplied for ranch related work only.

- shear juniper via skid steer
- burn juniper piles
- road maintenance
- spray some brush species
- fill feeders
- trap pigs
- trap raccoons
- assists in helicopter capture of exotics
- help work cattle
- check fencelines
- turn in shed antlers found
