The historic Fort Union Ranch, a 97,000 acre cow-calf operation in northeast New Mexico, is looking for a wrangler (females welcomed & encouraged) for the 2017 season of its summer family visiting program. The job requires daily care of 17 horses, guiding groups on morning horseback rides, and various ranch chores in the afternoons.

• Must be 21 or over.
• Must have horseback riding experience; better yet, horse training experience.
• Key qualifications are self-motivation, independence, and adaptability.
• Leadership and outdoor skills also are important.

The ranch provides room and board and a modest salary—but the outstanding rewards are an unforgettable summer and a terrific addition to your resume. Position begins mid-May and ends Labor Day.
