This supervisory position is the wheel that keeps the ranch moving smoothly & efficiently. Need organized and mature person to supervise and manage our housekeeping staff and kitchen personnel. This individual needs be a self-starter, needs to be able to see something needs to be done/fixed and be able to get it done. Needs the ability to “jump in” on a wide variety of tasks with the ultimate goal of making the ranch the most delightful place possible.

There are 4 major aspects to the job:

Guest Liaison: Ensure guest satisfaction throughout their weekly stays. Coordinate with other managers to make sure ranch is adequately staffed and maintained
Manage House Staff (Housekeepers): Oversee/assist housekeepers to ensure a high level of cleanliness to all guest rooms, and common areas.
Manage Kitchen Staff (Head Cook, Assistant Cook, Dishwasher): Oversee/assist kitchen staff get meals out in a timely and organized fashion. Provide back up to cooks as needed
Assist General Manager (Ellen): Write weekly staff schedule, monitor that guests needs/requests are being met and their expectations are being surpassed. Assist in checking in/out guests when needed.

For most summer months we work 6 days a week and days are long. Most days will start by 7 am and may last into the evening with guest entertainment. We expect that you will take a long break each day, where you may decide to join in on a guest ride or maybe enjoy a snooze in a hammock.
