Tractor Operator and Hunting Guide
Thundercloud Ranch is a Pristine Piece of Old Florida at just under 3,000 acres and is managed to maintain outdoor native Florida habitat for wildlife while providing activities for our private members club. It is truly a unique recreational conservation arena enriched by wilderness and wildlife.
We are seeking that one special person who loves the outdoors as much as we do. An effective applicant will be a good fit with a skillset for shredding and tractor work, ability to work with controlled burns and ongoing invasive plant control. Guiding quail hunts, skinning, quartering, cleaning and caping of animals. Feeder and Blind maintenance, filling feeder, plus other ranch work as needed.
Our requirements are simply that you can learn quickly, have a passion for hunting and wildlife management. Quail hunting experience is required. During hunting season, October-April you may be required to work over 8 hours a day and possibly 7 days a week. Workflow is based on hunting schedules.
As we are here to serve our members one must also possess the innate talent, aptitude, and integrity to work well with a diverse group of people, both members and fellow employees alike, and work with a grateful heart and friendly smile.
Reasoning ability: Must be able to solve practical problems and be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must speak fluent English to interpret safety documents, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Heavy equipment experience a plus. ATV/UTV experience preferred.
Pay to commensurate with work history: $21.00-$28.00 per hour.
Employee (only) housing available to the right candidate.
