Match Marketing Group is looking for Tour Managers for the upcoming 2017 Can-Am Texas Defender Tour. This tour will focus on conducting 24-hour test drives (via dropping units off) of the 2018 Can-Am Defender to key customers throughout the Texas market. We are seeking an experienced mobile tour manager with strong communication skills, and expert-level knowledge of all things UTV. Can-Am product knowledge a plus. The tour will occur from September 18th – December 18th, 2018 with training at BRP headquarters in Valcourt, CANADA the week of September 11th.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Event/Tour logistics
o Manager will work with the Can-Am product line to demonstrate features and benefits to key customers
o Be well versed on the product(s), brand, brand initiatives, etc.
o Manage overall (multi-city) tour route, drop-off locations and timing
o Contact all customers prior to their scheduled 24-hour demo and confirm their appointments (18 per week)
o Contact and meet with key dealer principles to coordinate and discuss the week’s demos
o Conduct on-camera interviews of key customer experiences for use on social media sites
o Drop off or pick up 6 Can-Am Defenders each day, Monday – Saturday
o Load and unload Can-Am UTV’s on 30’ trailer and drive from customer to customer
o Manage consumer experience and daily run of show
o Conduct pre and post survey about the customer experience and unit performance
o Manage days off “on the road” as well as days off from the tour
o Manage hotel bookings
o Manage loading and packing of trailers
o Must be mechanically capable and able to fix minor issues with the Can-Am Defenders
• Event Recaps
o Responsible for completing a thorough event summary after each event/week and sending to MatchMG /
BRP. All recaps can be emailed after each event or at weeks end
o Manage event recap media (pictures and video)
• Communication with MatchMG
o Responsible for maintaining a current maintenance log for each vehicle, along with drivers log while
transporting units
o Responsible for communicating with BRP and MatchMG immediately if an accident is to occur
• Expense Reports (Personal and for MatchMG Corporate Card)
o All receipts for every expense must be saved and kept in one place
o Corporate card:
Tour managers will be responsible for completing an online expense report with each item that is on
the current statement. The Tour Managers must add in comments for each expense and provide
receipts for all expenses.
o All team members are responsible for keeping track of their receipts
• Miscellaneous
o Carry health insurance
o Provide proof of a clean driving record and criminal history
o Other duties as needed for successful execution of these programs
o If schedule allows, accommodate all media interview requests
o Handle last minute requests, schedule changes, etc.
o Able to lift 50 – 100lbs
o Hold a valid US Passport and available to travel to the Canada for training.
Salary: $1,800 per week + Food & Hotel per diem
