Double R Guest Ranch
Volunteers form an important part of our team, as we entrust the safety and well-being of both our horses and our guests into their hands, and guides become an important part of the guest experience. Horse duties can include: back up rider, horse care, tack cleaning, handling young stock, treatment of ailments and general work on the ranch.
Minimum requirements are: – 21 years old and over – 200 pounds and under – competent and confident riders with a secure seat and soft hands, able to mount from the ground – fluent in English – non-smokers. Successful guides are also generally: – hard working and flexible – independent, resilient and resourceful by nature – highly sociable, comfortable in all types of company.
