Blue Creek Whitetails
Blue Creek Whitetails is a whitetail deer breeding facility located about 10 miles west of Falfurrias, Texas. Our operation is focusing attention on pedigree and marketability of animals in the breeder market as well as supplying ranches with stocker quality animals.
Duties to include but not limited to:
- Assist in herd health
- Feeding
- Assisting in AI and ET programs
- Assisting in weaning and vaccinating
- General ranch work
- Cleaning and maintaining the grounds and facility
- Operating & maintaining equipment
- Delivery of Deer
Qualifications:
- Self-starter
- Must be flexible and openminded
- Willing & wanting to learn on a daily basis
- Strong desire to work hands on with deer
- Clean organized work and home habits
- Valid driver’s license
- Able to lift 100 lbs
- Good attitude, good verbal and written communication and people skills
- Ability to work well with others
- Observant and detail oriented
- Able to work long hours in the heat or cold
Salary: $40,000 – DOE, On Site Housing, 401K Program and 70% of employees health insurance paid by the company.
