Job Objective:

Assist ranch management with meeting the goals and objectives of daily operations, maintenance, and natural resource management on 56,000 acre property.

Essential Job Responsibilities
• Assist with maintenance and management of water development on the ranch
• Assist with hunting/ family/ guest relations
• Maintain an intensive supplemental feeding program for deer and exotic animals
• Develop and maintain food plots for deer and game birds
• Keep detailed computer records of game camera scouting
• Predator control of feral hogs and coyotes
• Clean up and beautification of ranch
• Application of herbicides to manage habitat, fencerows, and water traps
• Maintenance and upkeep of ranch equipment, vehicles, and facilities
• Heavy equipment operation and maintenance (tractors, skid steers, backhoe’s)
• Fence construction, repair, and maintenance
• Provide excellent customer service to family and guests
• Ability to keep a positive attitude and work weekends when needed.
• Wildlife Specialist must have the ability to work anytime from September – February, including weekends and Holidays.
• Assist with any and other ranch activities as assigned by ranch management to aid in the development and startup process of ranching and wildlife operations

Other Job Responsibilities
• Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.).
• Maintains employee confidence and protects company assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing, the ability to be an approved driver for the company and to safely operate vehicles
• Must have the ability to traverse rough terrain and work independently in harsh conditions
