Eagles Nest Ranch
Eagles Nest Ranch is currently looking for a dependable, hard-working candidate to assist with daily ranch and wildlife operations. This is a hands-on, full-time position for someone that enjoys spending time outdoors. This candidate needs to be capable of physical work and longer days outside.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily tasks, including general maintenance, and property upkeep
- Assist with guided group needs and requests.
- Guide fly fishing, upland, turkey, deer, and waterfowl hunts
- Assist guests in the field with navigation, spotting, safety, and overall hunt experience
- Dog care, including kennel sanitation, training and exercising.
- Learn and follow our specific methods for preparing harvested animals for transporting
- Provide a professional, positive experience for guests
- Work non typical hours and sometimes in challenging weather
- Maintain gear, vehicles, and field equipment
Requirements:
- Hunting experience
- Experience with upland hunting dogs
- Strong outdoor skills
- Strong understanding of firearm safety
- Comfortable working with various pieces of heavy and farm equipment.
- Physically capable of walking, lifting, and manual labor
- Valid driver’s license
- First Aid certification required (we will cover the cost of the course)
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to work well as part of a smaller crew
