ClearSight Farms
The role, as a working manager, will oversee all aspects of the farm and day-to-day operations—and physically do the work. I am looking for someone who has the drive and enthusiasm for farming. The right candidate will love the land, understand what farming truly is, and have the passion to want to do it day in and day out. As they grow in the business with me and prove themselves, I am open to turning over more and more responsibility and decision-making.
The current farm manager has been with me from day one and has done an excellent job in taking care of all responsibilities at ClearSight including livestock, fencing, clearing land, making hay, accounts payable and whatever else needs to be done. He would like to slow-down from primary responsibility and move into a role of assisting where needed.
Currently the farm is 330+ acres with 60+ head of Angus cattle and growing. There is potential to expand the farm acreage further. Although we are only into cattle and hay now I am open to other farming opportunities and hope the right person will bring the skills and experience necessary to assist in building the ClearSight operation.
