Lazy E-L Ranch Corporation
We are looking for an energetic, motivated, hardworking individual to work and help maintain our ranch throughout the year. This individual is responsible for overseeing the entire ranch and communicating with the ranch managers and various family members on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will have, in addition to some general ranching experience, some practical building, plumbing and electrical repair experience to help maintain the buildings on the ranch.
The Caretaker / Foreman will work in the summer building and repairing fence, operating equipment and troubleshooting events that may develop during the grazing season. The ranch runs yearlings from May through September.
Additionally, the ranch runs a VRBO style guest program in the summer and the Caretaker / Foreman will be required to assist with this program. A significant element of the job relates to the appearance of the ranch, the care and upkeep of the buildings, lawns and grounds on a year round basis.
This is a full time, salaried position requiring variable hours depending on the season. Housing is provided on the ranch in the middle of the headquarters. Salary will be commensurate with experience. References and a clean record are required.
