Overview
- Willing to work in all weather conditions, including rain, wind, hot temperatures and cold temperatures.
- Willing to work holidays and weekends.
- Horsemanship skills, including training and conditioning of trail horses.
- Barn Maintenance, guide guest rides, do chores on certain days.
- Applicants must be hard working with good people skills.
- Looking for an individual immediately available to work through the winter season and this position has potential to continue on as a part of our team for the summer season.
- Immediate start date running approximately through the beginning of May.
**Duties Include but not limited to**
- Leading Trail guides
- Trail clearing, using chain saws, bobcat, tractors and mending fences etc.
- Ability to adjust to short notice changes.
- Clean up of corral area and stalls.
- Feeding, grooming and tacking horses.
- Ensure safety of guests and horses on guided trail rides.
- Must have own housing – Trailer, RV, Horse Trailer, NO campers NO tents. Commuting to job is acceptable as being on time and prompt is a must. (Animals have to be discussed (limited)
- 30 minutes away from the town of Napa. As grocery stores and gas stations are a drive but the serenity of the work place makes it all worth it!!!
