Job #1: Wrangler

Come ride the Rockies and enjoy the banks of the Colorado River! Wranglers must demonstrate good horsemanship skills on and off horseback and possess excellent communication skills as well. Our guests love getting to know the wranglers and enjoy a great conversation on rides through the mountains. Wranglers are responsible for leading trail rides, feeding, grooming and tacking the horses, jingling the 100+ herd in the mornings and general barn/trail/fence maintenance. Previous wrangling experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right person! We host the Wrangler certifications for other ranches every year.

We seek folks with previous horse experience who are on time, motivated, safety-minded, enthusiastic and great in a team setting. Wranglers must be able to stay through the entire season (early-mid May through the end of September). Lodging and excellent food is included on top of hourly pay and end of season bonus! Wranglers receive 2 days off each week so you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the outdoors and adventures our area has to offer. Come join us for all the fun this summer along the Colorado River!

Job #2: Maintenance Assistant

Also currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant position for grounds and buildings on ranch.

Assistant duties may include, but not limited to: maintaining grounds by cutting grass, weed-wacking, watering flowers, maintaining pool/hot tub, small repairs and helping with larger projects, helping with guest luggage, fixing fence, or anything needed to maintain ranch operations, cleanliness and repairs. Ability to operate any larger equipment (tractors, skid steer, etc) is helpful in order to help with feeding animals, but not mandatory. This position also typically helps with some guest activities such as the trap shooting, zip-line and/or hatchet throwing. No two days are the same!

We seek individuals who are self-motivated, safety-conscience, have a positive attitude and willingness to learn, work great with others, will be friendly and outgoing with our guests and are always ready to help where needed.

Salary DOE: Positions are paid hourly + overtime + bonus; housing and food provided.
