Seeking staff of high integrity: positions for wranglers and maintenance workers are both open.

This is a summer position at a dude ranch in a beautiful mountain location. Room and board are included; food is the best in the business and the staff culture is wholesome and energetic. The wrangler position requires taking guests on trail rides through the mountains and teaching them horsemanship, then care of a herd of 60+ horses, some light cow-work, tending our herd of yaks, teaching guests to rope and crack bullwhips (if you don’t know how, we’ll teach you how we want you to teach our guests). Our wrangler crew of 8-10 rotate through duties, some weeks may involve taking care of some of the K-12 kids or going on overnight pack trips in the high country.

Maintenance involves landscaping, pool care, vehicle care, building and carpentry projects, some remodel-type projects, etc., and helping guests with luggage and parking.

FOR BOTH POSITIONS: if you do not know particulars of the job, we will teach you. We want service-minded and friendly staff who are willing to learn.
