Location: Mohave County, Arizona at the crossroads of the Sonoran and Mohave Deserts. Dirt roads and starry nights with few neighbors and direct access to protected ranch land. We are remote and quiet but still within reasonable distance of towns and amenities.

Expectations: Prior wrangling experience at a guest ranch preferred. Duties involve taking guests out on trail rides, catching and tacking up horses, cleaning the tack area daily, feeding/watering the horses daily, mending fences, basic horse medical care and general ranch work. Social interactions with guests on the rides and around the ranch are common. This is a very friendly, low-stress and non-corporate atmosphere. Perfect for couples.

Perks: Full room and board is included plus great tips. Food is the same as what the guests eat so it is plentiful and delicious. Housing is clean, spacious, private, and not shared and comes with AC, Heat and WiFi. Cell reception is good, but the area is still remote and peaceful. Beautiful sunny weather year-round and no snow at the lower elevations. Rideable horses and friendly dogs are permitted. Wranglers are welcome in any of the guest common areas of the ranch. Sundays are off.

Overview: Working for Stagecoach Trails Guest Ranch is a unique and rewarding experience. You will be part of a small family-owned dude ranch in the Mohave Desert that is steeped in western tradition and embodied with family values. You will assist in creating lasting lifetime memories for both you and our incredible guests. You will have access to hundreds of thousands of acres of pristine, untouched land and endless trails among saguaro cactus, sandy washes, old cattle corrals, abandoned gold mines, and various mountain ranges. We offer our wranglers a large variety of riding experiences such as walking, trotting, loping, all-day mountain lunch rides, and even occasional overnight pack trips. Among dude ranches, ours is unique, and we cherish that everyday.
