Yard Maintenance ensures the day-to-day maintenance and repair of the entire feedyard facility.
Works closely with the Yard Manager to identify and develop a maintenance schedule to promote preventative maintenance practices. Works closely with all feedyard departments to ensure the welfare of livestock while contributing to the overall safety and success of the feedyard team.
Education and Experience:
- Maintenance/Mechanical background experience required.
- Feedlot and Cattle Handling experience preferred.
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
- High school graduate or equivalent; or, one to three month’s related experience and/or training.
