Big Chino Ranch
Established ranch in Paulden AZ, seeking caretaker / couple for animal care and property maintenance.
This position is ideally suited to an honest, knowledgeable and hardworking person or ideally couple, who enjoy animals, peaceful environment, and friendly people.
Year-Round Animal Care, Property maintenance help needed at small family ranch and Horse Event Facility near Prescott AZ area –Salary DOE. The right candidate or couple have the option of housing and horse boarding as part of compensation.
Daily Animal Care Duties:
- Feed horses twice daily.
- Muck barn stalls once daily
- Check auto waterers for functionality and cleanliness.
- Apply fly spray and check fly masks in summer; check regularly for ailments, eye injuries, lameness etc. and inform owners as needed.
- Winter blanketing as needed
- Keep chicken feeders filled and water buckets clean. Collect eggs.
General Property Caretaker: (All equipment provided)
- Mowing and weed control.
- General gardening and landscaping to maintain neat tidy planters, driveway and paths
- Dispose of trash or debris around property and Take trash out.
- Maintain small Lawn and flower beds
- Assist with small construction projects and repairs.
- Perform small repairs as needed, such as broken fence wire and minor irrigation leaks (occasional)
- Inform owners promptly of animal illness or injury and any larger repairs that are needed
