JLM RANCH INC
We are currently seeking a full-time employee on our family owned Ranch. We are primarily a cow/calf operation, along with producing our own feed and running a heifer development business.
This job will require a person that has, or is willing to learn, a broad range of skills. Most cattle work is done horseback but atv’s are also utilized when needed. We grow and harvest all our own hay. Employees will be required to fix fence, night calve, feed, operate haying equipment, perform general machinery maintenence and repair, tend to cattle on summer pasture, and perform a list of other chores to numerous to list. We will be willing to train the right candidate in any or all of these tasks.
The applicant we are looking for needs to be a good listener. We will explain any task that needs to be accomplished thoroughly, but only once. We have no time for people not willing to listen, learn, and give 100%. That being said, this can be a very educational and enjoyable job for the right person.
Jobseeker must be highly self motivated, willing to work long hours on their own. You will not be babysat, so self reliance will be a major asset for anyone applying. All applicants will go through a probationary period along with needing to pass a mandatory drug test.
