Pasion Iberica Ranch is looking for a long term, stable person or couple to join an exciting start up – the first of its kind in the US. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who wants to be part of a new adventure right from the start, including the farm set up, and wants to grow with the company.
Qualifications:
– Eligible to work in the United States
– Ranch management experience – record keeping, logistics, farm up keep.
– Valid driver’s license with a good driving record, no criminal record or outstanding warrants, and drug free.
– Dependable, proactive and visionary
– Must love animals
– Able to perform manual labor on a regular basis
Animal care
– Feed, rotate animals between pastures
– Monitor animals in distress and segregate sick ones
– Monitor breeding, attend birthing animals and weaning
– Ensure protection of animals in cold weather and during nesting
– Preserve the ranch’s animal-friendly treatment operating philosophy
– Assist Vet and owner as needed
Farm care
– Build, monitor for damage and maintain fences
– Monitor and clean water systems
– Set up and maintain animal pens
– Maintain clean and in good shape barns, facilities and machinery
– Assist owner with the coordination of ranch growth/improvement projects
– Duties may include managing of additional ranch workers
– Any other items requested by owner
A 1 bedroom barndominium will be built in the very near future shall the need for accommodation arise.
Salary: $32,500 base + performance bonus
