Must have a valid NJ Drivers License, be 21 years or older, have own transportation. Lifting and bending involved at times throughout the day. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Responsibilities includes:
- Feed and water daily animals, spot clean barns and coops and replenish with fresh straw, spot clean goats barnyard areas, daily clean of goat play gyms, administer medicine to animals if/when needed, collect eggs daily from hens, maintain inventory of animal supplies, feed, etc.
- Water all plants in greenhouse daily, plant flowers and vegetables outside garden, keep and maintain neat and orderly environment, maintain inventory list of all supplies for greenhouse.
- WEEKLY: Mowing of animal yard areas, garden area, dog run area, outside perimeter of animal areas, mowing farm fields and planting using various farm equipment, take garbage to front for weekly trash pick up (collect garbage from main house, barns, greenhouse), Purchase feed and supplies for animals/hens.
- MONTHLY: Complete goat barn clean (remove all straw, wood chips, clean wood floors, replace with fresh wood chips, straw). Complete hen coop clean (remove all straw and replace with fresh straw).
