Sanpete Horse Training
Horse trainer wanted for Central Utah horse training company that specializes in starting colts and providing foundation training for all horses.
Trainers start with roundpen/groundwork, move to the arena, then ride horses around town, down dirt roads, in the foothills and in the mountains. We are not a discipline specific training company – trainers are expected to focus on fundamental training so the horse can be used for whatever future use the customer desires. Most of our customers are backyard horse owners who trail ride with their horses. This is a physically demanding job that requires long hours, attention to detail and ability to stay self motivated while working alone. Trainers work with horses Monday – Saturday. Trainers never work on Sundays. Pay is commission based. Can provide on the job training for the employee.
