Diversified operation with cattle, wheat and hay. The cattle operation consists of 600 commercial cows, 400 yearlings and 125 registered cattle.
Job responsibilities include:
- Commercial Cattle – Feeding, working & processing cows/calves & yearlings, rotating pastures, doctoring
- Registered Cattle – same as above along with weighing, tagging and branding. AI/preg check is a plus
- Computer Skills – record keeping (Sageworks) and budgets
- Fences – Maintenance and new construction, welding is a plus
- Equipment – Tractor and implements maintenance and hay equipment
- Crop/Hay Ground – Tillage/sowing, spraying (fert. and weeds)
Supervisor skills a must.
Compensation – competitive with experience.
Owners are hands-on but not on-site daily.
