My name is Maddie May and I was born and raised in a small town in Oregon called Mt. Hood. I recently moved to Colorado to pursue a my equine career, and expand my knowledge in the agricultural industry. I am a hard-working animal lover with a lot to offer and an upbeat attitude! I am a lifelong animal lover with 10+ years of horsemanship skills, 1 year of vet and animal science, 5 years in 4-H, and 3 years in FFA.

I have done everything from vaccinating livestock to serving tables in a busy restaurant to working on diesel engines. Hard work and being presentable are the main things I pride myself on the most. This winter I am working with a team of percherons in the mountains of Colorado driving a sleigh for tourists. I have one great team and another team that is currently in training and coming along quite well! In 2019 I have had the opportunity to compete in western pleasure, halter, and even driving classes. I spend the summer of 2019 on a remote Wyoming ranch with 17 beautiful Gypsy Cobbs. I showed a few mares and one exceptional 4 year old stallion who won his first ever 1st place performance ribbons!

While in school I participated in many activities throughout high school, and some outside of school. I was a part of OHSET (Oregon High School Equestrian Team) I showed horses and competed in timed and teamed events. During that time I gained a lot of teamwork, quick thinking, as well as proper etiquette skills. I gained these traits as the years went on from OHSET to FFA. While traveling around the country competing and showing I treasured all the interactions with people I met from all around the world! Looking presentable, working hard, and being well-mannered has always been something important to me for this reason.

I have 2 very well trained ranch dogs that do not chase livestock that must come with me; As well as one small ranch mare.

My fiancé will also be relocating with me. We could be hired as a couple or just myself as long as he is welcomed to live on site with me. Antonio is a very skilled maintenance man, auto body tech, and mechanic. He has worked maintenance on a ranch in Colorado doing anything from carpentry, mowing, fencing, landscaping, irrigating, haying, and mechanics. He grew up on a equine and swine farm so he has knowledge of day to day farming and caretaking as well. He is very versatile and can do almost anything!

We are looking for our perfect fit farm or ranch! I think together we make an exceptional team who can get things done and do them right the first time!

We both have full resumes with plenty of references upon request. Don’t hesitate to shoot us a message or call us up.

Cheers and god bless!
