Large Ranch located in Montana is looking for 1 good Full-Time Hand and 1 Seasonal Ranch Hand near The Beautiful Teton mountains with all the open space you need.
We run Commercial Cattle and Sheep, we do haying also. (Seasonal hands have an opportunity to come on as full-time)
Looking for Honest, Hard working individuals who can follow instructions, think on their own, have a good concept of "Real Ranching", this is not Yellowstone or RFDTV!
Ranch has been in operation since 1890s, we are family oriented, fair with our employees, appreciate our employees and we expect the same.
Seasonal starts ASAP, calving goes from February 1s till about late April. Lambing starts in April goes till June ( Seasonal applicants can choose Calving only or Lambing only or both )
General ranch duties are feeding, moving livestock, branding, sorting, spotting sick livestock, shipping tagging, carpentry, light mechanics, welding would be great, fencing, doctoring, worming and ranch duties that apply. Rotating pastures and general daily Ranch duties.
Note: We do have an experienced Shepherd/sheepherder on hand who tends to all flocks and will train you in early spring, summer and early fall months to Camp out with Sheep and Livestock Guardians Dogs 1 week out of the month, we do rotate all hands. This is a great an adventurous experience and opportunity. All provisions are provided by the Ranch, you will stay in a small trailer situated by a large River and mountains.

(Housing is a Small 2 bedroom trailer suited for married couple or a small family. Nothing Fancy, but cute and clean, sits on about an acre.)
Bunkhouse living for For Single Hands is a 4 bedroom, 2 kitchen, 2 bath, 2 Living room’s, with plenty of space, parking and privacy.
