We are a diversified family farm/ranch raising cow/calf pairs as well as dryland wheat, barley, and alfalfa. We are seeking an employee for all aspects of farm and ranch work including, but not limited to:
– feeding
– cattle health
– calving
– fencing
– horseback riding to gather and check cattle
– ATV operation
– various farming duties
– vehicle, equipment, and facilities maintenance
– driving semi truck
– range evaluation
– haying
A valid driver’s license is required.
We are looking for a long-term employee and offer the opportunity for an individual to run some cattle along with ours after showing some initiative, responsibility, and commitment.
This is a rural location with no cell service; we’re 150 miles away from Walmart. It’s nine miles to the nearest pavement. The closest town is population 200 with a K-12 school and basic services.
