We are a family-owned recreational ranch in the Texas Hill Country. We are looking for the right pair to replace our retiring couple.
The location is isolated, the scenery is beautiful, the work is hard at times, the work is fun at times, the work can be rewarding, the work can be physically challenging and maddening! We offer it all! (Hear my chuckle)
This opportunity is for a couple that wants to stay put, grow to love a place and be content with peace and quiet most of the year, every year. The family comes about 75 days a year and when they are onsite, we cater to them. Sometimes that means preparing 3 meals a day for a dozen people and responding to many requests. Sometimes that means they want quiet and privacy and we leave them alone most of the visit. Most often it falls somewhere between the two extremes.
When the family is not present, we work at a slower pace to upkeep the grounds, complete projects and maintenance, deep clean, organize, etc.
The package includes a full time salary for each member of the couple, a 3 bedroom home (unfurnished), electricity, water, Broadband WiFi, and Dish TV programming and a ranch truck to perform the duties.
