Seeking a husband-and-wife team local to the Concho Valley to manage an 800-acre, family-owned ranch located north of San Angelo. The family is looking for a dependable couple who will maintain the property, manage livestock, and supervise occasional hunting activities.
The couple will be responsible for general maintenance and upkeep of the ranch home/grounds which includes ranch house/yard maintenance, house cleaning, road grading and repair, maintaining ranch structures, fence mending, brush clearing, maintaining ranch equipment, and management of and care for the cattle herd. Having experience operating farm equipment, managing livestock, and ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment will be a plus. The couple will report directly to the ranch owners.
This is a working ranch and the family occasionally spends time on the property.
The couple must be hard-working, honest, trustworthy, and organized. Reliable transportation to and from the property is necessary. Both must have a valid driver’s license and clean DMV report; must provide a work history and references, including phone numbers; and must pass a background check.
