All team members must work well with others and enjoy being part of a hardworking team! Must be a self starter and be able to think outside the box and maintain a presentable image.

Our Season runs first of May through mid-October, and we operate 7 days a week every employee gets 1 day off per week. Housing and 3 meals per day is part of the compensation package.

Cook/Chef

Duties include (but not limited to):

Cook will be responsible for setting up buffet and getting food out to buffet and completing basic food prepping tasks for a restaurant
Breakfast is buffet style
Lunch is ordering from a menu
Dinner is buffet style and a few entrees are ordering off a menu
Communication with servers is required
Must be familiar with dietary restrictions and can handle all aspects of the kitchen including doing the dishes, and keeping the kitchen organized.
Main duties include preparing and cooking food in a specific station, cleaning up prep areas and making sure the kitchen is stocked
Help with weekly food orders with manager
Help with dish washing when necessary

We have 2 cooks (one cooks Breakfast and Lunch shift and the one cooks for the Dinner shift)

Waitstaff Server

Wait staff duties include but are not limited to attending to the buffet during meal times, helping the cook with getting the food out and letting the cook know when the food is running low. Taking order and serving of food if the guest orders something off the menu, serving beverages and desserts to guests, clearing after meals, cleaning of dining room. Helping with outdoor meals for the Western Cookouts two evenings a week; preparing and packing food to the cookout. Some food preparation may also be involved. If not needed in the kitchen, you may be working in the yard, doing grounds maintenance, watering flowers, or any other duties assigned. We expect our property to be kept very clean, and meals to be exceptionally presented. We count on staff to be detail-oriented and to provide excellent service and hospitality to our ranch guests.

Housekeeping

First impressions are critical. This is where our housekeepers play a very vital role. Housekeeping responsibilities include: cleaning cabins daily based on the checkouts each day (changing towels, making & changing beds, cleaning bathrooms, taking out trash, vacuuming, washing windows, dusting, and various other cleaning tasks). Help clean the Pavilion where we have two western cookouts weekly and help prepare and serve food at the western cookout and wash dishes after cookout.

Qualifications/Responsibilities:

Ability to accept guidance and correction with a positive and respectful attitude

Good physical condition. Able to work a minimum of 8 hours/day cleaning, doing laundry and assisting in the kitchen serving, cleaning and doing dishes.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently and under time constraints
Ability to work with little supervision
Cleaning cabins daily for cabins that have checkouts
Maintaining cleanliness of Pavilion building where we have cookouts 2x a week
Towel laundry (sheets are done by a laundry company)
Restocking of items in laundry room and kitchen
Help get the food and items to the western cookouts and serve once a week at this event
Restocking of items in laundry room and kitchen when needed
Help clean the dining hall when necessary
Rotation with helping wash dishes a few days a week
Help water flowers
Other tasks needed around the ranch
