Wickersham-Mill Iron Seven Ranch
We have a position open on our ranch for a farm/ranch hand.
We are a family owned and operated ranch in Harrison NE. Cow/calf, feeder/stocker, backgrounding, and hay operation. We are looking for an EXPERIENCED individual that wants a career in agriculture. Must be honest, hard-working, a team player and reliable. Great attitude is a must!
Duties would include:
- farming-field prep and planting
- welding
- putting up high-quality alfalfa and grass hay-bale, rake, stack hay
- irrigation-pivot, flood, sideroll
- fencing-maintain and build
- feeding livestock in the winter-record keeping of rations
- processing calves
- assist with cow herd and yearlings
- maintain all ranch equipment, light mechanic work
The right individual must have experience in baling alfalfa hay, and maintenance/mechanicing of ranch equipment.
Housing, utilities, ranch pickup, beef, HEALTH INSURANCE after a waiting period, competitive pay provided.
