Bear Valley Farm is seeking an experienced, dependable Farm Hand to join our team at our beautiful mountain tree farm in Western North Carolina near Cashiers and Glenville.

This is a full-time, year-round position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining a property, and has experience operating tractors and farm equipment.

Responsibilities

Mowing and grounds maintenance
Tractor and farm equipment operation
Animal care and feeding
Fence maintenance and repairs
Tree farm maintenance
General farm projects and upkeep
Assisting with seasonal farm activities

Qualifications

Previous farm, ranch, landscaping, or agricultural experience required
Strong tractor and equipment operating skills
Ability to work independently and stay productive
Basic mechanical and maintenance skills preferred
Valid driver’s license
Honest, dependable, and willing to make a long-term commitment

Compensation & Benefits

$30,000 – $36,000 annual salary, based on experience
