Looking for a ranch hand for a family owned cow/calf operation approximately 25 minutes outside (South) of Missoula, Montana. Candidate must be motivated and able to work in a team setting and independently.
The ranch runs about 400 head of cows and use ATV’s and horses for cattle work. Summers are spent haying so equipment experience is a must.
Duties will include: Feeding cattle during the winter, calving out heifers, branding, general cow work, repairing fencing, irrigating, haying, etc. Mechanical and welding experience is a plus.
At this time, we are looking for someone with cattle and equipment experience that understands working on a ranch isn’t an 8-5 job.
