Responsibilities include: maintaining property (land & buildings) to the highest standards.
Must have experience: operating, maintaining & repairing farm equipment, installing, replacing & repairing fences, basic handyman skills to improve, maintain & repair structures.
Ability to communicate effectively & efficiently. Minimum 5 years experience.
We are seeking someone who is mechanically inclined and has familiarity with machinery, equipment repairs, and construction.
This person would also be involved in every aspect of farm operations. This is NOT a training position. Unfortunately, I can only employ someone who is currently living in the US. Team player willing to work hard and help out wherever needed (we do!).
Good attitude and gets along with others. Must have own transportation. Farm located on the Eastern End (North Fork) of Long Island. One of the top facilities on Long Island.
Potential for onsite housing. For the right candidate flexible start date, year-round position.
