Year-round Farm Employee/Groundskeeper needed at a privately owned ranch in NW Montana. We are remotely located in a beautiful area, 45 minutes from a town re grocery, Ace Hdwe etc and 1.5 hours from a town with WalMart, Murdochs. We need a team-minded individual that can work without supervision and understands farm/ranch work and hours. This position is responsible for irrigation, haying and fencing projects but will also fill in where needed on property for animal care, property and equipment maintenance, anything required to run a farm/ranch operation.
A list of preferred skills for position:
- Operation of all types of haying equipment and putting up hay
- Pivot and Wheel Line Irrigation Experience preferred
- Water lines/maintenance
- Welding and mechanic a plus
- Building new and repairing fence
- Computer competent a plus
- Can do maintenance on equipment
- Current valid driver’s license
- Pass a background check and drug test
Housing available.
Seeking full time, Salary DOE and w/benefits after trial period, Seasonal possible
