About the Role
Join the agricultural team at Tom Foster Farms! We are seeking dedicated, hardworking individuals to assist with crop cultivation, livestock care, and general farm maintenance. Key Responsibilities
- Livestock Care: Perform animal husbandry tasks, including feeding, processing, and monitoring the health of cattle.
- Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain farm tools and equipment; utilize mechanical knowledge for minor repairs and troubleshooting.
- Field Operations: Assist with planting, spraying, fertilizing, irrigating, and harvesting.
- Facility Support: Use power tools and forklifts to maintain facilities and transport materials safely around the farm.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience with cattle is required.
- License: A valid Driver’s License is required to operate farm vehicles.
- Physical Ability: Must be comfortable with heavy lifting and physically demanding outdoor labor.
- Skills: Strong teamwork skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently when necessary. Familiarity with irrigation and mechanical repairs is a plus.
Schedule & Environment
- 10-hour day shifts.
- Extended hours and weekends as needed.
- Work is performed in person on-site in Greeley, NE.
