600-Acre Farm & Retreat Development — Tahlequah, Oklahoma
Position type: Live-in, salaried (couple)
Compensation: $90,000 – $110,000 per year (combined) + housing, utilities & vehicle
About the Property
We are combining a newly acquired 416-acre farm with our existing development to create a ~600-acre destination featuring:
- Event venues
- Sporting-clays course & NRA-compliant rifle/pistol range
- Tree-house accommodations
- Ropes course
- Hunting and wildlife areas
- Working pastures for livestock
Key Duties
- Construction & Development: Coordinate contractors and timelines for sporting clays, ranges, treehouses, ropes course, and event structures.
- Farm Operations: Oversee daily livestock care, pasture rotation, feed, and veterinary schedules.
- Wildlife Management: Maintain habitat, monitor game populations, and align with state regulations.
- Equipment & Property Care: Operate and maintain tractors, UTVs, implements, irrigation, and general infrastructure.
- Event Preparation: Ready venues, coordinate staff, and ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Manage and coach farm hands, seasonal workers, and vendors.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience managing both people and property on a working farm, ranch, resort, or similar setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude (basic repairs, troubleshooting).
- Comfort with firearms and range safety; prior competitive-shooting or range-management experience a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Solid business-operations sense: budgets, inventory, vendor relations.
- Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Fluent English; Spanish helpful.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Valid driver’s licenses (both individuals).
- Ability to pass background checks and obtain an FFL (Federal Firearms License).
Compensation & Benefits
- On-site residence (modern 3-bedroom home) with all utilities included.
- Company vehicle for work use.
- Base salary $90k–$110k per couple, commensurate with experience.
