Our beautiful 20,000 acre property includes three large mountains, two rivers, and surrounding foothills.
This position includes general livestock care (feeding, watering, moving, calving, branding, and monitoring) for less than 100 cow/calf pairs, a few horses, friendly dogs; grounds keeping; fencing; flood irrigating and haying, depending on the year; vehicle and equipment maintenance.
We also have an outfitting business since 1983 for approximately 50 hunters for elk, deer, antelope, turkey, and black bear. This ranching position is separate from the outfitting business, however, there are times they intersect if needed.
Included is a two-story farmhouse (two bedrooms), Starlink, and utilities with the monthly salary which is negotiable depending on experience level.
