Job Opening: Hunt Guide / Trapper / Gamekeeper

Are you an experienced outdoorsman with a deep respect for land, wildlife, and conservation? We are seeking a dedicated Hunt Guide / Trapper / Gamekeeper to join our private ranch team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about field work, habitat management, and ensuring a high-quality hunting experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in guiding hunts for Bob White Quail, Pheasant, and Partridge.
- Set, monitor, and maintain traps and predator control systems
- Manage game populations through selective harvest and data collection
- Maintain feeders, blinds, trail cameras, and water sources
- Assist with habitat enhancement: prescribed burns, planting, mowing, etc.
- Track seasonal movements and the health of wildlife.
- Ensure safety, legal compliance, and ethical hunting standards at all times.
- Maintain hunting vehicles, UTVs, and firearms.
- Help steward the land, manage game ethically, and deliver unforgettable hunting experiences
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a hunt guide, gamekeeper, or trapper
- Strong knowledge of firearms and local wildlife
- Familiar with predator control and wildlife habitat practices
- Comfortable working in remote, outdoor environments in all seasons
- Basic mechanical and maintenance skills
- Valid driver’s license; hunting license and trapping certification preferred
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Bonus Skills (not required but a plus)
- Dog handling (retrievers or pointers)
- First aid/CPR certification
- Experience with guest hosting and client relations
