Backcountry wilderness hunting camp cook position from September 1 – October 10.

*Cook breakfast/dinner for three 10 day hunts for 9-10 people

*Please ask for menu – menu is not negotiable (dinner will include bread and dessert to be made)

*Ride into camp takes 10 hours – once the cook arrives they will not leave until the end of the season. Cook will have their own 10×12′ wall tent with a cot, sleeping pad, wood stove and lantern in it. This is a wilderness camp so there is no electricity or plumbing. We do have a shower tent.

*Cook will send a food list out to the trailhead and the manager at the trailhead will pack and send in the food for the next hunt

*Must be able to manage the food that comes in, keep it stored in the ways provided, follow the menu, keep the kitchen clean and wash dishes

*Camp is located in grizzly bear country so staying clean is very important.
