Silver Spur Outfitters
We are looking for a cook that has experience cooking for large groups. We guide elk and deer hunts in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado (near Silt). The position will be from September 8th until November 28th during the hunting seasons.
Base camp consists of numerous cabins and the kitchen is located in the main cabin. There is a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, and smoker for all your cooking needs. You will be cooking breakfast, appetizers, and dinner as well as making a packed lunch for all the hunters. We usually have about 6 to 12 people each season.
In addition to cooking meals, you will be responsible for cleaning the cabins and other camp maintenance. Experience with outfitting operations are a bonus.
The days will be long and it is hard work, but you will be surrounded by beautiful scenery and you will meet some great people.
