Triple G Outfitters
We are looking for a cook that has experience cooking for large groups. We guide elk and deer hunts in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado (near Vail). The position will be from October 12th until November 19th. Base camp consists of numerous cabins and the kitchen is located in the main cabin. There is a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, and smoker for all your cooking needs. You will be cooking breakfast, appetizers, and dinner as well as making a packed lunch for all the hunters. We usually have about 6 to 12 people each season. In addition to cooking meals, you will be responsible for cleaning the cabins, filling water jugs, and other camp maintenance. Experience with horses and/or outfitting operations are a bonus!
Board is included and there will be a place to wash your clothes and shower after each group of hunters (every 5-6 days). You will usually have a day or more off in between seasons to rest. The days will be long and it is hard work, but you will be surrounded by beautiful scenery and you will meet some great people.
