Temperance Creek Lodge
Temperance Creek Lodge in beautiful Hells Canyon USA is seeking a couple or an individual who loves remote off-grid living and is looking for long term employment.
TEMPERANCE CREEK IS A FISHING AND HUNTING LODGE, NOT A CATTLE OR HORSE RANCH.
We cannot accommodate families with children at the current time.
Our lodge is remote with no vehicle access.
Transportation into and out of the lodge provided.
If commitments and/or needs require you to have consistent access to the nearest community, this is not the job for you!
This is Hells Canyon, it is a unique area like none other but it is hot in the summer and cold in the winter!
Absolutely no drugs.
- Must be dependable, hard working, honest and able to work independently to accomplish tasks.
- Must be in good physical health to accomplish job responsibilities.
- Well organized self starter who can prioritize and be efficient with their time.
Job Requirements
- Ensure all areas (indoors and outdoors) are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and orderliness.
- Carry out deep cleaning and organizational projects of any and all outbuildings.
- Monitor supplies and fuel usage.
- Cook breakfast, lunch and suppers for small groups of guests.
- Laundry
- Turn over of guest accommodations.
- House cleaning.
- Provide supply/grocery orders at intervals.
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electric, engine fluid maintenance and machine operation.
- Ability to operate and maintain basic machinery like UTV, tractor, diesel generator, chainsaw, etc…is necessary.
- Chainsaw dead trees and split rounds for firewood.
- Assist in guest services.
- Communicating with guests, ensuring a pleasant and safe stay.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Starlink internet.
- Housing and meals provided.
- Days off require prior arrangement with transportation into and out of lodge provided.
Salary is based on experience.
