Types of work include general land maintenance (mowing, tidying, etc), minor building care (prepping for freezes, minor repairs, coordinating with trade people, paint work, etc) along with light equipment maintenance (on tractor, mower, power equipment, etc.). Land owners live on the property in a separate house, and the apartment is private. There is a pond, creek access, and the tenants will have use the property for recreational purposes respectful to the owners and property itself.
Salary: $25-$30 /hour
2 bed/1 Bath apartment above a 40×60 private shop on approximately 60 acres of family land, available for the right person/small family. Available in April/May 2026.
Rent is $1100/mo plus elec., but will be reduced for 8-10 hours/week of work credited at a fixed hourly rate.
Owners are very nice, and well established in the area. They are aging and need someone to take over the upkeep. Work will be at the direction of the property owners and costs of equipment and supplies will be covered. The right applicant will be the type of person that takes ownership of the role and is a self-starter.
Storage opportunities also available at low, negotiated price.
1 hour south of Atlanta, 7 miles from shopping centers/dining
